The School Direct programme allows potential trainees to apply directly to Lynn Grove Academy for their teacher training. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in our school in advance of the course start date.

Government bursary funding is available to help people who wish to train in some subjects. You will find more information about fees and funding at the Get Into Teaching website.
If you already have 2 years of classroom experience (such as Teaching Assistants or Cover Supervisors) you may wish to consider a post graduate teaching apprenticeship. Teaching apprentices do not pay fees to study and earn a salary whilst developing their teaching skills in the classroom. Apprentices split their time between school and University with at least 20% of their time being spent on study.
